Intel launches 8th Generation core desktop chips for Gaming

On Sunday, 24th September intel launched its 8th generation core series, which includes the 6 cores over 12 thread core i7-8700K, they also said it’s the best gamin chip made ever. According to the intel general manager, Orders will be started on 5th October. This new chip is referred to as part of “coffee lake” family. As intel announced 6 new desktop chips, and they are offering core i7 8700k as best gaming chip. This new chip will provide the best proposal with extra 25 percent FPS (frame per second) in the games.

The executers said the popular games such as Player unknow battleground and streaming, multitasking will give us huge performance of 45 percent more than 7th generation core chip. Intel’s 8th-gen Core i3 chips, by contrast, are now quad-core parts. All are what Intel calls “14-nm++” parts, combining an improved design with process tweaks. Intel is not only making itself more competitive, but also trying to cut in to one of the selling points of the Ryzen. In all, Intel launched six new chips and their aspects:

Intel Core i7-8700K 6 cores/12 threads at 3.7 GHz, boost to 4.7 GHz $359

Intel Core i7-8700 6 cores/12 threads at 3.2 GHz, boost to 4.6 GHz $303
Intel Core i5-8600K 6 cores/6 threads at 3.6 GHz, boost to 4.3 GHz $257

Intel Core i5-8400 6 cores/6 threads at 2.8 GHz, boost to 4 GHz $182

Intel Core i3-8350K 4 cores/4 threads at 4 GHz, no boost capabilities $168

Intel Core i3-8100 4 cores/4 threads at 3.6-GHz, no boost capabilities $117

Cores performance.

These new processors have the range of sixty-five watts to 95 watts, in core i5 and i3 they have lack of turbo boost capability in games and graphics. But in the intel 8th generation family core chip has the power of 40 percent more boost than the 7th generation core chip.

Srivatsa (General manager of the Intel) said “Intel will begin to ship even less expensive Celeron and Pentium chips, extending into early 2017”, he also said that “Architecture plus design, adding up to premium performance, we are extremely excited to be able to offer best in class single-threaded performance and a significant leap in multithreaded performance in the same power envelope as our previous generation.”

These chips will use the new socket LGA 1151 but the other one z270 will used the 2400 MHZ with DDR4 DRAM which bumps up to DDR4 2666 with 3.0 connection from the direct to processor. Which show us the 4K HDR and input/output support for thunderbolt 3.0 with x16 PCI connections.
